President

David Thomas

Brooklyn, NY

David is a senior, majoring in Mechanical Engineering with an emphasis in Manufacturing. Aside from being the President of our EWB Chapter, David is an Eagle Scout, a member of the Sally McDonnell Barksdale Honors College, Ole Miss Rocket Rebels, the Kappa Sigma Fraternity, and he is the fundraising chair for Safe Ride, as well as Omicron Delta Kappa Honors Society. In his spare time, David enjoys playing piano, singing, biking, working out, and Fantasy Football.

What do you think is the best part of EWB?

“The opportunity to work with such selfless, driven individuals to create meaningful, positive change and satisfy the EWB mission is the highlight of my college career thus far.  It’s also been an amazing opportunity for students in the chapter to develop their leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.”

 

Vice President

Paige Lohman

Moline, IL 

Paige is a senior, majoring in Mechanical Engineering. Aside from being the Vice President of our EWB Chapter, Paige is a member of Pi Beta Phi Sorority and the University of Mississippi Center of Manufacturing Excellence. In her spare time, Paige enjoys volunteering her time for others in need, exploring, hiking, skiing, and scuba diving.

What do you think is the best part of EWB?

“We are sharing our wealth of knowledge with others and making the world a better place in the process.”

 

Treasurer

Manny Dhaliwal

Silver Creek, MS 

Manny is a junior, majoring in Mechanical Engineering with an emphasis in Manufacturing. Aside from being the Treasurer of our EWB Chapter, Manny is a member of the Collegiate Automotive Manufacturing Society and also serves as the on the Academic and Professional Development Committee for the University of Mississippi Center of Manufacturing Excellence. In his spare time, Manny likes to play basketball, the sport he fell in love with as a kid, and is an automobile enthusiast.

What do you think is the best part of EWB?

“I think the best part of EWB is the diversity of people it brings together to serve a bigger purpose. It is an organization that is inclusive to all people of all majors looking to get involved or find their place at Ole Miss.”

 

Co-Design Chair

Butler VanVeckhoven

Florence, AL

Butler is a senior, majoring in Chemical Engineering. Aside from being a Design Chair of our EWB Chapter, Butler is a member of the University of Mississippi Center of Manufacturing Excellence, the Sally McDonnell Barksdale Honors College, and the Phi Kappa Phi Honors Society. In his spare time, Butler enjoys reading and going on runs with his chocolate lab.

What do you think is the best part of EWB?

“The best part of EWB here at Ole Miss is the mission we are looking to accomplish and the people you get to work with to achieve it.”

 

Co-Design Chair

Hannah Faust

Nashville, TN

Hannah is a junior, majoring in Civil Engineering. Aside from being a Design Chair of our EWB Chapter, Hannah is a member of the American Society of Women Engineers and the Delta Gamma Sorority. In her spare time, Hannah enjoys spending time with her friends, going on ice cream runs, and riding around to listen to music.

What do you think is the best part of EWB?

“Having the chance to travel to the communities we support! I will never forget the relationships I formed while in Togo and all the educational and cultural experiences I got to have.”

 

Fundraising Chair

Alex Myrick

Bay St. Louis, MS

Alex is a junior, majoring in Integrated Marketing Communications. Aside from being the Fundraising Chair of our EWB Chapter, Alex serves as the Director of Membership for the University of Mississippi Chapter of the American Marketing Association. In his spare time, Alex enjoys golfing, staying on top of his studies, and all things outdoors. He also loves Ole Miss Athletics.

What do you think is the best part of EWB?

“The best part of EWB is the diverse group of people we have, from all different fields of study and life, coming together for a good cause.”

 

Marketing Chair

Nicholas Arnold

Natchez, MS 

Nicholas is a senior, majoring in Accountancy. Aside from being the Marketing Chair of our EWB Chapter, Nicholas is an Eagle Scout and the Director of Digital Marketing for Southern Style Publications. In his spare time, Nicholas enjoys exploring, playing piano, collecting watches, traveling, hiking, listening to music, and reading.

What do you think is the best part of EWB?

“To me, the best part of EWB is how well-rounded it is. Not only is it a service organization that gives students the opportunity to make an impact on communities across the world, it provides members something to look forward to. Through the people you meet in EWB and the cause that brings people of different backgrounds together, it spreads a fun, welcoming, and diverse environment that is incredible to be a part of and give back to.”

 

Campus Outreach Chair

Jay Deep Rao

Jackson, MS

 Jay is a junior, majoring in Civil Engineering. Aside from being the Campus Outreach Chair of our EWB Chapter, Jay is a member of Rebel Radio, the Garden Club, and the American Society of Civil Engineers. In his spare time, Jay enjoys traveling, cooking, and playing basketball.

What do you think is the best part of EWB?

“I think the best part of EWB is that it brings together like-minded, talented individuals whom can collaborate to achieve something great and help people in need, all while helping its members improve themselves as humanitarians, engineers, and teammates.”

Tess Gilboux

Dallas, TX

Tess is a junior, majoring in Mechanical Engineering. Aside from being the Membership Chair of our EWB Chapter, Tess is a member of the American Society of Women Engineers as well as the Chi Omega Sorority. In her spare time, Tess enjoying hiking, running, snowboarding, playing sports, and going to concerts.

What do you think is the best part of EWB?

“I think the best part of EWB is making a difference in communities globally and locally through engineering.”
